Hello Passion,
MOTHER AND HER DAUGHTERS
Its been a while since we talked so let us catch up. I have been looking forward to taking my first photo shoot with the girls since I found out that I was having a second girl. The day didn\’t start off perfect. The original shoot location we have chosen didn\’t work out due to rushing out of the house and my husband forgot the batteries to the camera. We had to go to attend a church cookout, which was fun but so hot because well…its Texas. By the time we returned back home from our outings we were exhausted. My make up for the shoot I did that morning was sweating off and sticky. ? Just when I was going to wash it off my husband says why don\’t we just do the shoot when it cools off so you don\’t have to redo your makeup again tomorrow. He knew that would get my attention. Although I love slaying my face, I dislike doing the work or putting on face foundation. I have to mentally commit to wearing foundation because I have to remember to not rub my eyes, my nose, my cheeks …you get the point. ? I agreed to do the shoot later when it cools down… again its Texas so that didn\’t happen. We all drove to Kidd Spring Park in Dallas, a park we never been but we passed along the way getting to the highway. Little did we know the park had a Japanese Garden. That totally exceeded the original shoot plans. My husband and I were excited but not the girls. August was scared of the ducks that were walking around and Ailani just couldn\’t take the humidity. At that moment I realized this is not going to go as good as I wanted it, not only that we had to beat the sun going down. So we walked halfway into the park and found a cool area away from the pond and ducks. The girls appeared to calm down a little, so we started shooting. Let me tell you it was not easy, Ailani feel asleep and August quickly got into her \” Get this camera out my face mode\”. So we made it work to the best of our ability. I considered my photo shoots as work for me but I had to get into mommy mode and make it fun for my toddler and a very cranky tired baby. I asked my husband to capture us in our natural elements. I was totally nervous about how the photos would come out, how we would look, but we were ourselves, to me, they were perfect. Although we don\’t always see eye to eye during my shoots my husband (Ivory Jackson) always get me and capture the shots, I couldn\’t ask for a better photographer, thanks babe. I hope you all cherish these photos as we do, I can\’t wait to do and for you all to see the up and coming projects with the kids and some. we have so many ideas so stay posted. I am also going to post some of my favorite previous shoots to give you guys a little history of me and my family. Thank so much for your patience and for visiting my blog. I promise I will post more. Love you guys and looking forward to your awesome comments.

Prayer for my girls
Father God
Let me be more than a conqueror
Let me be a fantastic example to my girls
Allow me to show them how to be a queen and how to be treated as one
Let me show them the way, God
I hope you keep me here to see them grow into the beautiful ladies that you wanted them to be
Help me to be poised, graceful, to lead by example God so when they look at me they will see a Victorious woman
It\’s okay if they see my flaws as long as they understand my come ups
Give me the strength Lord to be physically able to do my best for them, guide me to raise them as Eagles and as conquerors
Besides their father and brothers, Lord let them look up to you for guidance and wisdom
Allow them to know your love so they won\’t have to sell their soul to the world for love. Remind me Lord to celebrate their uniqueness to celebrate their strengths so they will continue to overcome any obstacle
God give me wisdom and discernment to choose the people who will be around them Guide me, Lord, to teach them Integrity respect and forgiveness so no one could hold them captive
Lord let no plague come near there dwellings. I pray that they will be Fearless, I pray they will break all generational curses and addictions Lord I pray that you keep my husband, that he will make all the right choices to be a Godly man and example
I pray you give him the strength and ideas to be a great provider and that they continue to see how a woman should be treated and love unconditionally the way he loves me
I pray their brothers will be kind and loving to them
Show them how to be respected and how to beat the odds of the status quo when it comes to their race, gender, and characteristics
Lastly, Lord help remind me that I am a blessed mother and that life could be gone like the vapors of smoke
Help me to cherish each moment, slow to anger and quick to forgive
Thank you, Lord, for blessing my womb and choosing me to be their mother
I give them back to you and will train them the way they should go so they don\’t depart from you
Amen
